So I found this pattern that I just loved but didnt have the occasion to make it then my cousin got preggo and when she said she was having a boy I just knew. Her and her fiance love green so I changed the colors to green and brown. Hope that you enjoy.

The individual squares

The border I stitched it free hand, not very good but my first try at it.

The backing Material

The matching elephant from the left over material.

Since I quilted the blanket with clear thread I quilted the elephant pieces with the same thread before I sewed together it is a cute affect but cant see in pic.

I really like the fabric choices, and the stitching on it is beautiful.  And yes, to quote others - the Elephant is adorable!  I love the stitching on his ears.
