I made this quilt top about 2 years ago and put it away. I pulled it out again late last year and finally finished quilting and binding it last night. Despite some shoddy workmanship, I just love it.  Grin I hope you do too.

I was unsure about this binding, but I think it turned out great!

The colours are quite rich - my iphone camera doesn't show them very well. Here are some of the individual blocks

sorry for the blurry photo - a detail of quilting that shows the binding.

For anyone interested, I quilted around the flowers in the star centres. The star backgrounds have meander/stipple quilting. I quilted flowers and vines and leaves along the striped block borders.

c & c welcome!

I love the colors.  The quilting really makes the star points pop, it almost looks like they are 3D.  The flower quilting looks amazing too.  What a great quilt!

Looking for postcards from anywhere to use for RSVP cards for my 8/2012 wedding.  Have 80/200.

I love your use of color and stripes on this one!

Those who say it can't be done shouldn't interrupt the person doing it.

I'm glad you finished it, it looks great.  I really like your choices when quilting it, the stars really do pop out.

I always love stars and I especially like how the heavier background quilting really makes them pop out. Nicely done!

Woohoo! Baby Clark is on the way. Due October 24th.
