love that you used materials on hand and kept stuff from going into landfills!

I remember making the chain with gum wrappers when I was a child--and I still remember how to do it!! Never thought to use bigger "wrappers"!!

Great job and a lovely project...thanks for sharing!

Ok that is an awesome bag!! I love it!!! Great job!!! Would love a how to on how to make the chains. I've been wanting to try to make one of these bags for a while. Wish I could find some cool milk cartons like that around here.

Oh my goodness! First of all, the bag is adorable and so clever! But what really gets me is seeing our milk cartons on craftster - When I clicked on the thumbnail I KNEW that I recognised that pattern from SOMEWHERE. Awesome. Yay Guernsey! ^^

I'll tell you a tale of the bottomless blue
And it's hey to the starboard, heave ho
Look out, lad, a mermaid be waiting for you
In mysterious fathoms below

It's not a mistake. It's...um...a design feature.

SUCH a wonderful bag! To be honest, I really like the black side. (The inside once finished)
I'm really looking to make something like this and now I have more inspiration.
