I ran out of white embroidery floss in the middle of a project, and really want to pick some up today after work.  I work near downtown & live in NE - Hollywood district.  The only place I know for a fact they carry embroidery floss is Fabric Depot, but I don't have a car so it's quite a trek to get out there.

Is there any place downtown or in NE where I can pick some up?  Hopefully someplace that's open until at least 6pm?

TIA.

NE, eh?  The closest place I can think of is Knittn' Kitten.  They have a good variety of floss, but it might be a good idea to call ahead to make sure they have the shade of white you need...

There's a needlework store with an INCREDIBLE selection of embroidery threads about two doors up from Knit Purl...
Knit Purl is on 11th and Alder (downtown), and the embroidery store is on Alder (same block)

Awesome.  I can probably get to one or both of these places on my way home.  I've totally been to the needlework shop near Knit Purl, I just forgot about it.  And I've been meaning to check out knittin' kitten, but I thought that was just fabrics & yarns.

Thanks!

For future reference, Twisted has some too on Broadway and Bolt on Alberta.
