May I ask, how you attached the "3D-squares" to the wall?

I just used regular tape to attach them to the wall. For Christmas I had used tape to put snowflakes on te wall and it lasted the entire Christmas season so I wasn't worried about them falling down. If I were to make it more permanent I might use something else...but I'm not sure what.

Yeah, just regular scotch tape. If you look very closely at this photo you can see the edges of the tape - but it's not visible to people unless they are thoroughly inspecting the hearts. :-)

This is an idea I've been thinking about since forever. You did a very good job! Some tips: you can also use mounting tapes. There's a paper store (that is, they sell various patterned paper for art purpose) near me that can supply art papers with good quality to make these. I can't wait to try this.
