wow thatkid! i hope you feel better/get out of the hospital soon!!!

i received an AWESOME package from Veludo today! All the way from Portugal in just a few short days! She claimed me for a warm cowl - what's extra special is that she made it from Portuguese wool - My fiance and I got engaged just outside of Lisbon two summers ago, so Portugal has a special place in my heart (and now around my neck!)

On to the pictures! *note - i just got a new camera and this was my first group of photos, so the pics might not be my best!

Oh thatkid sorry to hear you are in the hospital. I will be sending yours soon, I have a couple of hours before work today to try to get yours finalized.

I received a great package from lolaandbean when I got home last night. I will try to get pics up tomorrow and my cats are very happy as am I.

I am still a little under the weather and will try to get thatkids' mailed asap.

found a dog poem book at the thrift store that I thought she might be able to find inspiration from for the dog swap she was hosting

and a couple of really bad pics of the blanket I made for her puppy, whose color request were pink and green. one side was just a solid piece of fabric I found, pink with dogs

The other side is flannel, cut out doggie bones from a pink and green striped cotton fabric and sewed on.

This pic was taken of it stretched out on dh's easy chair.

I got these great pot holders from Shelanie. I've had the cupcake one on my wist forever. They're almost too pretty to use, but I really need new pot holders.

I love those cupcake pot holders.  May I ask what is in the center of them padding wise?  Ive been wanting to make some but wondering what to use as padding to make them.

Sorry it has taken me so long, but here's the fab package I received from Lo{ve}!
One of my extras, a fabric bookmark. How cute! And should be much more durable than my paper ones.
Next up, a sleep mask! I have been wanting one, since the light shines right in my eyes during naps, and the fabric is just beautiful. It fits really well, too.

Finally, my actual claim, a Team Edward shirt with my jailbait quote. Excellent job on the stencilling, here! I do not have the patience to cut out lettering like this.

It is a little small, so if it doesn't fit when I've lost a little more weight, I may recon it. But that's fine with me, I recon most of my t-shirts anyway! It's the gorgeous stencil I needed in my life.  Terrific job on everything, Lo{ve}! Thank you!
