There should be earrings and a necklace in that bag of buttons too.  they didn't get lost did they?

I received a wonderful package from icebyrd67. She sent me a cute little cupcake pincushion, two cuts of fabric (both are very usable for me), beading supplies and buttons. THANK YOU!!

Oops! I took a picture of them but forgot. I was having a moment  Tongue

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Sorry for the delay all you happy craftsters. No updates on Mom yet, still doing tests. I'm a little better and seeing a Doc on Frid.

BUT

I have to post my awesome goodies. They were both waiting for me when I got home from work late on Monday night.

First from Frosty722, she made me a project bag. This is so cheerful and needed. It has the most awesome stitching, that I plan to inspect closely to see how it was made. The ribbon holding the handles are a perfect match for the stripey outside and lovely shiny floral green inside. The pocket is generous and this will be my new project bag. I have so many WIPs that this is PERFECT.

Then if that wasnt enough, even though I am the proud owner of the Let It Be scarf, I got another awesome scarf that was knitted. Yes, KNITTED, just for me in this lovely shad of orange that is almost a pumpkin. I wore that to work last night here in big orange country and every one loved it. The knitting yarn was also something I've never seen, so I guess no more exuses not to knit.

OK, enough of the chit chat, here are the pics.

If you both have better photos and post them in the boards, I'd love to see better pics, I just don't have any good image editing software on this little computer.

Thanks ladies.

Oh ladies, get your wisting fingers ready. I received from Phoenix today. A BEAUTIFUL Tree of Life pendant. I'm headed out to get a chain for it right now. She also included some fun robo-shark fabric, which is definitely going to be made into a quilt for quiltsforkids.org

Here's a close up of the pendant. It reminds me of a tree in the summer, which of course makes me now want one of these for each season.

And here's a shot with the fabric she sent! I love it!

Thanks so much Phoenix!!!

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.
