i claim terracruz for a crochet hook roll and bookmarks!

this is my first claim. (0 sent , 0 received)

Hi! My name is Lo, Im 19 and live in KY, USA. I share an apartment with 3 other ladies, they are not crafty and get super annoyed by my crafty clutter (why cant they just understand!?) so I think Id prefer to receive functional items instead of just cutsie things that will add to the mountain of goodies I already have.

Favorites!- My favorite colors are purple, teal, and maroon. I also love black/white/silver combos. I have a DEEP love for bats, Ive always been obsessed with the little guys! Therefore I love vampires too, but the dark kind! NOT fantasy, I HATE Twilight. I also love angels, skeletons, the human anatomy, outer space, tattoos, vintage, piercings, matryoshka dolls, anything funky! and last, I love anything to do with Jesus and Mary!

Dislikes!- I really dislike animal prints! I can not wear regular earrings because my lobes are stretched. I also can not have anything that has a really strong smell, like something that smells like it is covered in perfume or smoke, I will get a terrible migraine.

things I really  really extra want are in purple!

CRAFTS:

- knitted socks! I wear a size 6 or 7 (Ive never had a pair of handmade socks!)

- this knitted purse I love the color of it! And with a strap long enough to go across my body and the bag hang at my hip (http://garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=98&d_id=55&lang=en )

- a coupon organizer! i love coupons Smiley (like this http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=40256956 )

- altered journal! For writing my dreams down in (Im obsessed with deciphering dreams)

- a rack to hold my thread (like this http://wists.com/dearelizabeth/7abcbb9be33522e30e5de3ff3a954dfc?offset=40 ORRR THIS http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=318652.0;topicseen )

- textured wall art like this (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=332758.0 )

- lobster claw stitch markers (any will work! but these are sooo super cute! http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=37955205 )

- anything on my wists!

- a rosary, I wear one everyday and they break quite easily so Im always needing more. Handmade ones are amazing.

- painted coffee mugs (I believe there are quite a few of mugs on my wists you could look at)

- wet bag for cloth pads (like this http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=40306748 )

- fabric menstrual pads (I have some but could use more)

SUPPLIES:

- religious fabric!

-ribbon of any kind

- a learn to work with resin kit! Ive been dying to do this because I want to learn to fill tunnels for gauged ears.

- any generation t books

- pattern for sewed baby booties (like this - http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=37978982 )

- crochet patterns for baby anything for that matter! (prego sister Cheesy)

- baby prints fabric (unisex, we dont know what it is yet) it's a boy!!  Cheesy

- crazy/vintage buttons

- - serger thread! I just got my first one, and need to begin a stash! Cheesy

- interfacing

- stuffing for plushies/pillows

EXTRAS:

- mmm chocolate!

- matryoshka dolls Cheesy

- coloring books! (I go through those like a mad woman)

I claim Lo{ve} for a wet bag for cloth pads & a wisty surprise Smiley

2nd claim, 1 sent, 0 received

My name is Sarah, I live in Chicago, IL. I'll be 33 (yikes!) this month. As my username says, I'm a stay-at-home mom. I used to be a lawyer & will be again.. someday. I have no allergies (but I REALLY dislike cigarette smoke!) & we have a dogs (a terrier mutt). I have two sons, Cooper, 2, & Dexter, 3 months. My taste is pretty eclectic. I love bright colors, and orange is my favorite. There aren't really any colors I don't like. I'm not really big on jewelry... I think it's pretty but I just don't wear it (I will wear small post earrings & anklets). I'm pretty open to anything (& not easily offended). I have more info on my profile & you can always check out my blog, wist, or etsy shop. I'm fine with used (quality) items or upcycled/repurposed items. I love batik fabric, whimsical designs (think Mad Hatter) & Dr. Seuss!
Also, I update my wist constantly so theres always new stuff on there.

CRAFTS - big wishes in orange Smiley

* A sweater/shrug/wrap like this

* Boots like this or this (but with a sole that can be worn outdoors). Darker colors are better, but I'm pretty open to any color. (I'm a size 9)

* Upcycled sweater boots

* Felt food

* Educational/learning toys for my 2-year-old son. He's really into the alphabet, colors, & numbers now. Busy toys for the car are great!

* Car organizer

* Small planner (no larger than 4x5) that I can carry in a diaper bag. Could be paper craft, fabric covered, or whatever, just so long as its a little durable.

* Totally super huge obnoxious wish: Painted, drawn-on, tye-dyed, bleached, or otherwise embellished/decorated Converse All-Stars - Im totally fine with used Converse & I wear a size 7 (9 in womens, but 7 in Converse). Pretty much any creative design would be great, but if it was Dr. Seuss related Id probably pee in my pants from excitement.

* Angel wings like these that I can attach to my Moby wrap (preferably with Velcro or snaps)

* small (diaper) bag (maybe 12 by 15-ish or something) with pockets; maybe even an external pocket or two on the sides for a sippy cup or bottle of water. Backpack or messenger bag so its easy to carry everywhere.

* Something (maybe a throw pillow?) commemorating one of the most important rules my husband & I have in our marriage: "The Rule Of Specific Examples" (basically, we agree that it's difficult to think of specific examples so if in an argument you make a complaint but can't back it up with a specific example then you invoke "the rule of specific examples" & the other can't hold it against you).

* Play silks

* Toddler busy book - I've received 2 of these from craftsters in other swaps & we LOVE them so I'm always open to another Smiley

* Embroidered or painted cloth diapers (pocket or AIO, preferably medium, but large is fine too). Some examples here and here

* Anything for storage of sewing supplies. I have lots of ribbon (on spools & loose), thread, elastic, zippers, velcro, & other odds & ends that need spiffy new (or new to me) homes. (I'm putting this in all three categories 'cause I think it could fit in all of them!)

* A surprise (wisty or something Id like)

SUPPLIES

* medium weight fusible interfacing

* cloth diaper making kit

* felt food making kit

* snap press (used is fine!)

* fabric - I like bright colors & interesting prints. Amy Butler & Michael Miller type stuff is always great. I love batiks. I'd love some knit fabric.

* zippers

* bias tape maker (used is fine!)

* minky fabric - preferably boy or gender neutral colors/designs

* Anything for storage of sewing supplies. I have lots of ribbon (on spools & loose), thread, elastic, zippers, velcro, & other odds & ends that need spiffy new (or new to me) homes.

EXTRAS

* used or thrift clothing with fabric I can use (interesting  prints or textures)
* fabric scraps
* knee high socks in stripes or interesting colors/prints
* fun lunch/food items - squiggly straws, fun shaped sandwich cutters, popsicle molds, cookie cutters, etc.
* Anything for storage of sewing supplies. I have lots of ribbon (on spools & loose), thread, elastic, zippers, velcro, & other odds & ends that need spiffy new (or new to me) homes.

Thanks! Smiley

I claim luckdragon for fingerless mitts, probably the  granny square ones, but I haven't decided yet. Also, probably some sort of amigurumi cause they're so darn cute. : )

This is my second claim this round, one sent, none received.

I am 19 and live in Fredericksburg, VA (USA) much of the year, where I go to school. My style is pretty haphazard--I never coordinate anything, so my decorating style is whatever I like, all cobbled together. I love bold prints and art deco and fun colors, but I'm not a fan of pink or orange. I love dark colors, like maroon and navy. I knit like a fiend (almost constantly) and also crochet, sew, spin, and dabble in paper craft. I really want to learn weaving, and soapmaking, just to add to my crafty repertoire. I have cats and a dog at home, but not at school, and they all stay out of my crafting supplies. I don't have any allergies. PM with any questions!

Crafts:

-   Throw pillows (quilted, embroidered, knitted, whatever)
-   Handspun yarn
-   Beaded or poly clay stitch markers
-   Reusable baggies (made of oilcloth) for snacks/cereal/cookies to replace ziplock bags (ziplock bag size, enough to fit chip/cookies/whathaveyou
-   Zipper bags for storing random things (any size, really)
-   Hand-carved stamps. Pretty much anything as I have pretty much none.
-   Framed art for my boring dorm room (drawing, painting, embroidery... anything really.) Harry Potter, House, Grey's Anatomy, Futurama, Knitting, or Battlestar Galactica (through season three--just started watching season 4, so no spoilers!)-themed would all be awesome, as well as various generic snark, hilarity, or pretty-ness. I have some favorite quotes too, so pm if you want more specifics. (This goes for pillows too)
-   Shawl pins/brooches.

Supplies

-   ***Roving/Top for spinning (combed or carded)*** (This is my favorite supply to receive ever, and I will love you lots if that's the supply/thing you claim me for. : )  )
-   Large buttons, preferably in sets of at least four.
-   Yarn (natural fibers only, please), especially greens (like, forest or kelly) and blues or neutrals, any weight
-   Lino carving tool thing (for carving stamps)
-   Large erasers or rubber base thingies for carving stamps
-   Thread (any color)
-   Machine sewing needles (I go through them so quickly) regular, but also leather/denim.
-   Kool-Aid/dye for yarn/roving
-   Swift. You can even make it out of clothes hangers and a lazy susanI just wont ever get around to it myself.
-   Rotary Cutter mat (I have the cutter; just need the mat)
-   Awesome fabric--abstract/geometric prints, swirls, Amy Butler-esque, or linen. I love linen.
-   Vintage Ephemera
-   An x-acto knife/blades
-   STAMPS. Pretty much anything as I have pretty much none, but especially words/greetings.
-   Stamp Pads. See above note.
-   Resin kit
-   Soap-making kit

Extras

Knitting/crocheting books (but pm first)
Paper crafting/card making books
Sewing books/magazines
Back issues of Interweave Knits, Knit1, Knit Simple or Vogue Knitting (or any other knit mags; please pm)
I'll never say no to chocolate or candies, especially gummies.

My name is Claire, I live in New Jersey, I'm a vegetarian, I do yoga, I LOVE animals (especially cats), zombies and skulls, cupcakes, and anything bohemian/indie. My favorite colors are blue, orange, teal and green. No allergies but can't stand the feel of velvet and i don't like chocolate. i love learning new crafts but recently I've been on a crocheting-sewing-jewelry-ATC kick.

i just bought a condo and have NOTHING for it! so any house-related items or crafty storage ideas are more than welcome   Grin  My kitchen is a dark teal, my living room is bright green, and the other rooms are beige, but have bright accents (like orange, yellow, green, blue...)

- Folded magazine/paper bowls or containers with lids- tute here as well as some others on the boards: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=71395.0

I am going to claim claire313 for that crazy Sanibel bag, as I have been wanting to make one. It may take me longer than two weeks as it seems a little complex, but I will make sure to be in contact. I want to do a good job, especially since its one of your bolded items.

This is my 2nd claim of 2, with 0 sent and 0 received

My name is Jodi and this is my first wish swap!!!

I am a 24 year old Coloradan who moved to Texas (all USA) with my husband and our dog. We've been married just over a year, and are loving life! I'm really into frugal living, and trying to pinch pennies in every way that I can. I love to sew and am just learning knitting. I've started an afghan that's going to take me FOREVER.

My favorite colors are dark forrest green, and blues of any shade. I don't like pink. But in reality, I really enjoy everything colorful (even pink as long as it is not overpowering). I am not very "girly" and don't wear much jewelry. I love The Beatles, Survivor, the Amazing Race, and books of all shape and sizes. I definitely prefer functional items, as I hate to clean but am having success with the Flylady.net system which promotes cutting down on clutter. I love historical fiction novels, particularly by Philippa Gregory. I got a degree from Colorado State University in History Education, but taught middle school math for a couple years before I got married and moved to Texas. I love Mario video games, and played a whole lot of Zelda growing up. I also enjoy quilting, though I've only ever actually finished one. I love sharks! I think they're fascinating.

Crafts:

Kitchen wetbags like this - http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=38793415&ref=sr_gallery_1&&ga_search_query=kitchen+wetbag&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=&includes[ but with whatever fabric

Reusable Paper towels - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=334735.msg3875905#msg3875905

Purses, check out my wist in my signature

A weekender bag!!!!!!! (Huge wish!)

A Christmas ball ornament with my husband's alma mater logo (they don't sell them!!!) www.etbu.edu

Reconned cute modest T-shirts (I'm a size medium after its reconned). I love this style: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=334188.20

A throw or lap quilt

The one jewelry I do occasionally wear are dangly earrings, though they can't be huge or chunky or heavy

Homemade doggie treats!

Funnny/cute/video game/anything you think I'd like magnets for my fridge!

A mail organizer to hang on the wall - check my wist for an example

Pretty stitch markers!

Knitted/whatevered out of yarn sockies for my house that I can simply slip into. My feet are always cold. I'd like them to go up a little farther on the toes, but basically like these ones: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=32052674&ref=sr_list_2&&ga_search_query=knitted+house+socks&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title

Supplies:
Fabrics of all varieties!!! I don't like goth or skulls. I love Alexander Henry fabrics (especially apples and pears) in general, and I can't get them around here!
Buttons
Modern cross stitch projects/ideas/patterns/etc
Rotary cutter blades
I also have fun uses for fat quarters
Knitting magazines/how to-s/ideas
Kid friendly fabrics (I quilt for Quiltsforkids.org and want to make extra quilts, but I don't have any kid friendly fabrics since I don't have kids of my own)

Extras:
Peppermint patties
Chocolates (especially dark and white) are always good
