This quilt is finally finished!

My friend Siobhan had organised a bunch of friends to each donate scraps of fabric to go towards making a quilt for a friend's little girl.

Most of the fabric, I have to say, was completely unsuitable for quilting - including Japanese silk!  Shocked - so there are some construction flaws in the quilting and binding, but overall pretty fab I must say! And done completely free of charge as well!

Here are some progress shots with Miss Three helping me baste, and the final product. It's backed with a vintage cotton sheet and made to fit a single bed.

What a cutie! And the quilt is very pretty. I'm sure your friend's little girl will love it. She will never notice any flaws it might have.  Smiley
