I was bored so I did a little research on 35

Its the atomic number of bromine
In Ancient Rome, it is the age of a man in his prime, at which he was eligible to become a consul.
It is the passing grade in many Indian Colleges (out of 100). Scoring a 35 is known to many students as getting a "Stamp"

Interesting....

STS 34 factoids...

42 swappers, 147 claims, top shops were ptarmc wumpus with 14 claims and lapoli with 13 claims

ranch dressing is the overwhelming favourite, followed by oil and vinegar.  exercise, eating well, crafting more, being organized and finishing a thesis were popular goals for 2010.  as was no resolutions.   my favourite was "stay fat" I'm on board with that one Cheesy

Welcome back, sheepBlue!  Glad you couldn't hold out!  The trick is to offer limited quantities of your really cool stuff!  No custom orders for you, girlie!

I have returned from Florida -- got to Traverse City and couldn't find my car for like an hour -- I was so tired -- it's not a big airport or parking lot, but I just couldn't see my car.  It was in a darker spot and my remote wasn't working -- when everything came together and my car appeared in the darkness (I had to call the cops to get my plate number so the guy in the ticket booth could look up  my spot).  I had tried to open this car -- actually lifted the handle and peer inside.  I guess I knew it was my car, but couldn't figure out what the problem was . . . anyways, by car battery was completely dead.  By this time it's 11 p.m.  The airport was vacated except for the Avis girl who was doing paperwork.  She gave me the number for a cab and I went to a hotel.  My hubby rescued me and my car this morning.  I am exhausted and coughing today.  Yuck!  Though I am so excited for you girls traveling to Vegas, there is no way I could make it even if I wanted to . . . well, maybe if I slept for a couple of days . . . you guys are going to have so much fun!  You have to keep us updated!

Crafty news -- got a project nearly done for sheepBlue for IYP and finished up some socks for a personal swap.  I'm thinking I will do some light knitting tonight while I cuddle my doggie (she was very happy to see me!).

P.S.  love the elephant/mouse toy, lxm!  The rice sack kimonos are awesome, atsuko!

"Stay fat!"  ha ha  love it!

Neat fun facts sheepBlue!  Glad to have you back!

Getting ready to cut out Q's PJ pants and another baby dress... also planning on cutting out some bibs and crinkle squares.

I have a "quilted" changing pad to add to my shop (I made 2, I am keeping one of them, used up a package of "quilt" binding and all the prequilted baby fabric I had in my stash... so yay for destashing)... I need to take pictures of the dresses and such that I made last week so I can update my blog, so hopefully I can get that added tonight.
I also have a bunch of zipper pouches that I was going to list on etsy, but I may put them in my STS as well or instead (depending on how I am feeling about having to do all those listings... ugh)
