These pieces were all either commission pieces, or sold in galleries and boutiques!  Hope you like! I loved creating them. I felt a strong connection to them all!!

BTW - they're all papier mache and homemade paper pulp. No molds were used. All one of a kind.

What kind of paint/glaze do you use?  I really like the black accents.  Are those from the paint/glaze or do you add that afterwards?

I especially like the second one!

How do you manage to be so prolific?

I use artist quality acrylics. With these sculptures, I started with a black  base and painted on top with a dry brushing. It adds depth, while being super easy. I`m all about creating depth in the easiest possible way!

Thanks! As for being prolific, I tend to get on a roll. These sculptures were all created were within a month`s time frame, I think. I think it`s just one of those things where when you figure out the basics and you have all the foundation figured out, it`s full steam ahead, if that makes any sense? Like, I knew exactly the forms to build out of paper balls, and then how to mold it out of paper pulp, and exactly how I liked to paint them. It was just the details that were different....the hair, the lips, the cheek bones, the dress. I think you just have to get on a roll!

Thanks for your comments!!
