J Darko , or epic *300* circles

  Hi guys ... Edit : just to let everyone know its 300 circles 

   I'm so excited to post this dress , Iv been inspired  for a while by those signs that are lil glittery bits that twinkle in the wind ... any way I wasn't sure what shape to make circles or squares or even what color I wanted to use ,  then I saw the Movie S Darko and the awesome dress by Elsi Katz and I knew circles would be prefect ...I used some great Yale blue Raw silk I got for Christmas and mixed in some blue shiny satin of a slightly different shade to give it more of a scaly iridescent look when light hits it ..... I was going to tell you guys  exactly how many circles are in the dress but I thought it might be fun to let you guys guess first  ..the circles are each 3 inches and Id say I put at least 60 hours into making this   I really don't have any where to wear a dress like this .. but I said who cares Its My birthday so I'm wearing it bowling ! lol ... Please tell me what you guys think Of this one ... its my biggest project so far

WOW Jayne, this is incredible. I was thinking that you haven't posted in a while but now I know why. It's absolutely beautiful and I love the idea of wearing it to go bowling on your birthday. I am so gonna hit this rocks. Happy birthday!
And I guess there are about 400-450 circles in it.

It reminds me slightly of Rainbow trout, which I think is just AWESOME.
I'm gonna guess 517 circles.
But it any event, I am very impressed.
