Thick and thin hats are great. Did you finish off that bottom one with some other yarn? The juxtaposition of the super textured yarn next to the mill spun is a real treat.

Hi! This was my first time EVER dying or spinning yarn, and I have to admit, I loved the whole process. I've already ordered a ton more fiber  Roll Eyes

Okay, here's the yarn...

(this was before setting the twist)

And here's the result! A granny square bag  Cool I was planning on doing three squares for a pattern but I ran out of yarn...and I kinda like it better this way anyway.

The only parts that aren't handspun are the very outer edges (green & purple and the blue that I used to stitch it together). I sewed all the lining in as well. Yay for creations!

Wow teknicolor! That looks great. Isn't it great using your own handspun? I'm so glad you've been enjoying your new addiction. Welcome!

If I saw your bag in a store, I'd squeal, grab it, squeal, and then pay whatever they wanted.

I dyed this fiber probably a couple of years ago:

And after having it sit in my stash for a while, spun it into this:

And then it sat around for a while, waiting for the right project to come along.  My co-worker is having a baby, so I made her this:

I gave it to her this week and she was so excited.   Smiley
