Cheesy  I agree, the fiber was dyed for me by a friend as a birthday present a few years ago.  I wasn't sure how I was going to like the pink, but loved how the yarn turned out.  At least where I am, it's still a little on the chilly side, and the scarf is pretty lightweight, so I hope to get a little use out of it before the weather changes.

Ooh, that scarf is so pretty! I love the colors. Yesterday, it snowed where I am, so I'm a little jealous of you gals.  Wink

Gorgeous yarn & scarf.  Love that pattern.  It really shows off the colors well.

I made some yarn this week, and already crocheted it up into a poncho for my 18 month old. The colors came out a  little more saturated than I wanted them too, but in the whole project I think it looks just fine.  Here are some clicky photos of the whole process:

And here is the yarn:

And the whole poncho:

Anyone think I'll be able to find a pink sleeveless dress to go under this today? I hope so!

Love the pattern and your model is just adorable!

What pattern did you use?  I'd like to make a poncho for my granddaughter (14 months)

Thanks you guys! That's not really a great picture of her but maybe I'll update it after tomorrow.

the pattern calls for an N hook, but I used an L hook to make it fit my Alice. I found the link through crochetpatterncentral.com

Thanks! I bet if I use a different size yarn and hook, I could get it to fit Kristany.
