Thank you!

One of my favorite things about carding and spinning and what not....is how stuff kind of just happens, not necessarily how I thought, but pretty nonetheless.

I finally have something to contribute here! I am so happy!
Here's the yarn, well, before i plied it with some redish cotton thread:

And here is the scarflette I made out of it!

I love the texture of it. I am so sad to say goodbye; I made it for a swap.

ETA: I forgot to say that I got the roving from SpinningAwesomeGood on Etsy. She made roving flowers and they were amazing to work with! I am so glad I had them to work with on my first spinning projects!

That's a pretty scarflette.  Love the coloring. Your swap partner is lucky!

I am working on a pair of handwarmers (a belated christmas present that i hope to finish this week!)  Knitting 2 at a time, 'cause even though they are a small project, I just know it would take forever to do the second one.  Smiley

Beautiful scarflette Jexxican!

Bella--can't wait to see your legwarmers!

I have another item to add. Nothing fancy...just a ribbed hat.

First, here are the fiber bits. There is mohair, BFL, Wensleydale locks, and Angora...

...which were then carded into these batts...

...spun up into this yarn...

...and then made into this super soft and super warm hat...

I am almost done with another project...a tiny dog sweater!

Muppy, I love the 4 step photos! Sometimes people dont really understand how much goes into making these things or dont see how we go from point A to point D. Heck, sometimes I don't understand. That's the kind of hat that I would call priceless because of all the time I can see that went into it.

I love that hat. The colors look so vibrant.

I finally finished the last of my Christmas knitting (only a month late, which is pretty good for me!) Nothing very exciting, a pair of fingerless mittens, but I love them so much, I don't really want to give them away.

Merino/silk blend, dyed, spun and knit by me, though I forgot to take a picture of the fiber before I spun it. Smiley
