Oh and I think the term we are looking for is Hairpin lace loom!

I love hairpin lace! Yeah, you need a special loom for that. There are just so few good patterns out there! I really want to buy this pattern for Wristlets from Jennifer Hansen but I don't know, I might just want to buy the book it's in. Oh my gosh, I have a favorite crochet pattern designer. My husband told me that makes me a nerd but I am OK with that.

Love that scarf!  I agree, it looks great with the ruffle on both sides.  I didn't look at the original, but it seems like it would look unfinished with the ruffle on just one side.

I haven't made smack-diddly-squat recently.

haha! you guys are so smart, that was exactly the term i was looking for. Smiley now that i know i can just use a broom to do cool things i may have to put the dishes on hold (sorry hubby) and go play with my yarn. Cheesy
