I made this in time for Valentines Day. I don't know if the picture shows it very well, but I stitched a heart on the back.

Not quite sure what I'm going to do with it, maybe fill it with chocolates for my hubby!!

I bet most of you could figure this pattern out for yourself, but if there's interest, I'd be willing to type one up!

Here's the pattern, please let me know if anything doesn't make sense!!

The Love Boat

Sides (make two!)
Row 1: chain 6
Row 2: sc across the chain in the butt of the stitch (6)
Row 3: chain 1, turn, sc across (6)
Rows 4-22: Repeat Row 3
Row 23: sc dec, 3 sc, sc inc (6)
Row 24: sc inc, 3 sc, sc dec (6)
Row 25: Repeat Row 23
fasten off .

Bottom of Boat
Row 1: chain 2
Row 2: sc in second chain from hook (1)
Row 3: ch 1, turn, sc inc (2)
Row 4: ch 1, turn, sc across (2)
Row 5: ch 1, turn, sc inc in both stitches (4)
Row 6: ch 1, turn, sc inc, 2 sc, sc inc (6)
Row 7: ch 1, turn, sc across (6)
Row 8: ch 1, turn, sc inc, 4 sc, sc inc (8 )
Row 9: ch 1, turn, sc across (8 )
Row 10: ch 1, turn, sc inc, 6 sc, sc inc (10)
Row 11: ch 1, turn, sc across (10)
Rows 12-19: repeat Row 11
Row 20: ch 1, turn, sc dec, 6 sc, sc dec (8 )
Row 21: ch 1, turn, sc across (8 )
Row 22: ch 1, turn, sc across in the back post only of the stitch (8 )
Row 23: ch 1, turn, sc across (8 )
Rows 24- 26: repeat Row 23
fasten off

Boat seat:
Row 1: chain 5
Row 2: ch 1, turn, sc across (5)
Rows 3-9: repeat row 2

-Stitch sides on the bottom of the boat
Note: I recommend that you sew the sides to the bottom starting at the back of the boat and sewing to the front.  Its easier to fix an imperfect fit at the front than at the back.
-Single crochet around the top edge of the boat after sewing on the sides.  Use a contrasting color for accent.
-Stitch boat seat in place
-chain a length of yarn to sew at the front of the boat for a rope.

That is so CUTE!!!  If you type up a pattern, I'd make one for my daughter for Valentine's Day and fill it with chocolate.  Boats and chocolates, her two favorite things! Grin

This is super cute! If you use some plarn or cotton, it would make a sweet soap dish too!
