I needed a birthday gift for my book-loving Dad, so I made him this photo frame from an old Thomas Hardy novel. I took a picture of me and the kids in "sepia" tone to kinda match the look of the book and I took one of the blank pages from the cut-out part and wrote a message on it and glued it inside. The pages were very hard to cut as they were so old and fragile. I took these photos when I'd first glued the photo and message in, I actually went back and tidied up the cut edges afterwards but I forgot to take an "after" shot.

And here's the closed book with matching card, also using paper from the inside of the book:
