Here's the idea: get some clear nailpolish, apply a base coat. cut a piece of newspaper (or what else you have at hand) of approximately the size of your nail and put it on top of the base coat when it's still wet. Let dry, trim the excess and apply another clear coat for protection.

et voilá!

it does come off okay. after the top coat is gone you might have to soak the paper a bit so the polish underneath is dissolved Smiley But then you can probably pull off the paper in whole, so no nasty scrap scratching Cheesy
