I never get tired of reading that kind of comment, because I get such a kick out of how much people like it. Usually when I think I've been very clever, I'm the only one who says so! Wink

Are you OK with how it's taken on a life of its own?  You were excited about boingboing and D+R.  Are you comfortable with what a craft/make phenom it's become?

You are one smart cookie.  It's so simple, yet ingenious.

Well I figured with 10 or so pages of comments, the likelihood I'd be repeating everyone's elses comments was pretty high. It's got me thinking of things that need sorting just so I can make something like it - my boyfriend's a house painter but I don't think his paint brushes really need sorting lol.

Yeah, my primary craft sort is usually only beads from buttons so I can't really justify having one of these awesome gadgets either.  However, it has given me a new perspective with which to brainstorm on storage and practical ways to make the annoying little things of house cleaning more manageable.  I really need to figure some hassles out in the kitchen!

Beads from buttons is exactly the kind of sorting this box would do well!

As for the unexpected blog celebrity ("celeblogrity"? no, that's awful), I just find it quite funny, and count myself I didn't achieve the same exposure for something less respectable!

That's so fantastic!  I'd like to make one up for my work truck.  I get really lazy about sorting fasteners and things between one work order and another than I just toss it all into an empty spackle container.  Effort-wise at the moment of toss-in it's great; however, when it comes time to rediscover what I need later on- it's a pain in the butt.

Great idea- thanks for sharing!  Cheesy

Looking to de-stash cross stitch magazines, particularly Cross Stitch Gold or New Stitches?  Please drop me a line!  I'd love to swap or buy some missing from my library!

This is Super-Duper Awesome!
I work part-time at a theatre, and I'm the one who usually gets stuck with the job of sorting the buckets 'o crap! (tedium is somehow cathartic...for the first few hours anyway).  Also, I would love to spend the time making this instead of sorting for a while!
