I was looking at the other Pop Tab purse, and I liked it, but I thought it needed color.
SO, I took the tutorial to make a Pop Tab bracelet, and started to make a purse.  I haven't finished (I got bored and ran out of tabs), but I figured this could be an inspiration and someone could finish it and make it look cool.
What I've got so far:

Making a tutorial is really difficult, but if anyone wants it, I can try my best.

That is awesome. I wish I drank enough soda. At my one every 2 days rate, it will take me forever.

I'm not a soda drinker, but my grandpa drinks at least 5 beers a day, so that's how I got all of the tabs.  If you know people who are soda/beer crazy, you could probably get them to save them for you.  That, or you can dig through trash and find then Cheesy

some energy drinks have really neat colored tabs, like Monster.  those are green/blue.   and i think the one coke makes has red tabs.  not that i'm a caffiene junkie or anything.  this is a really awesome project though.

I'll try my best.  Most of it will be with pictures, though, because I have a hard time explaining things.

You'll need:
A butt load of pop tabs
Ribbon
Optional: Saftey Pin(it helps to push the ribbon through)

Pull the ribbon through, but leave an inch on the outside.

Flip the tab over, and put another one facing up on the other side.  You should have two tabs, with the bottoms facing each other.

Push the ribbon over the right edge of the tab facing towards you, and the left of the one facing away.

Flip it over again, and add another tab facing towards you right beside the first one.

Push the ribbon over the left edge of the tab facing towards you, and the right of the one facing away.

Repeat these steps until it's the desired length.

If you repeat the steps on the bottom half, you'll end up with a bracelet like this.

But that's not what we want, so lets move on.

It gets kinda tricky here.  Put the top hole of a tab over the bottom hole of the first tab.

Thread the ribbon through, making sure you go through both tabs.

Flip it over, and put the top hole of a tab over the bottom hole of the second tab.

Thread the ribbon through the same way you did on the first row, making sure you go through 4 TABS.

Flip it over again, and add another tab just like you have with the other two.  Thread it through 4 tabs again.

Repeat these steps until you meet the end of the first row.

This is probably going to be difficult to understand, but I'll try.
Match up the bottom hole of the first tab in the second row with the top hole of a new tab, making sure the new tab is UNDER the second row tab.  This is important, because if you keep putting tabs over tabs, you'll end up with a triangular hole in the middle.

Thread the ribbon through, making sure you go through two tabs.  Flip the thing(I don't know what to call it) over again and add another tab beneath the second tab of the second row.

Thread the ribbon through 4 tabs, then flip the thing over again and add another tab under the third tab in row 2.  Thread it the same way you have been for the whole time, once again making sure you go through 4 tabs.

Repeat until you reach the end.

From here, you repeat the steps for putting tabs over tabs, then under again.

Any questions?

Thanks for the great tutorial! The different color ribbons made it so much easier to understand compared to other tuts I've seen.

i just sent out an email to all my friends asking them to save their beer can and soda tabs for me.  Last week I went around the party collecting everyone's bottle caps.   Oh!   Just had a brilliant idea of having a party where people could only drink out of cans.   If only water came in cans.
