Vinyl Art - House of the Rising Sun

Ever since I was a kid I've always loved vinyl records. Some of my earliest memories are of Sunday afternoons in the living room with my Dad whilst listening to his extensive collection.
 But now we're living in the digital age and records are on the way out. So when I was on my travels through the charity shops, I was ecstatic to find an EP of the Animals singing "House of the Rising Sun" from the 1960s. It brought back such strong memories that I vowed to do *something* with it.

 I dug out my oil paints, made a stencil of "todays" New Orleans skyline (that is, from the 2000s) and attempted to make this:
 

 I'm not great with oil paints but I do like how this turned out and I have it hanging over my computer monitor

Oh that is cute! I love that song. I still have alot of vinyl records, I find myself having a hard time parting with them.

 Vinyls are hard to part with, I actually spent ages trying to decide if I should paint on this or just keep it, but seeing as I'll probably never have a record player again I went with this idea!
