I wanted to try waste canvas. It is a big pain in the butt but I definitely want to use it some more. LOL! I did this cameo on my sweater.
Some of the stitching came out wonky because the pattern on the waste canvas is hard to follow.

You get mad skillz points for this one. I hate me some waste canvas... and on such a delicate looking (and no doubt stretchy) sweater.

Wow!

What a sweet design and the color combo really gives it a vintage feeling.  I love this idea.  Never tried waste canvas, but I might have to now.

I think it is beautiful! So feminine and perfect.
I will admit to knowing NOTHING about waste canvas, but if it can help do stuff like this, I will have to learn.

Waste canvas is totally a pain, but in the end, waste canvas projects look great!  Good job!

Thanks everybody! The pattern is from Rainbow of Stitches. Waste canvas is just like Aida cloth but rougher in texture and for me at least, a little harder to work with. I want to stitch on all my clothing now.  Cheesy

Waste canvas is supposed to pull right out if you wet it, but I'm always struggling with it and yanking with tweezers.

It's such a pretty design and makes for a sweet, girly sweater. I don't see a bit of wonky stitching!
I hate me some waste canvas too! MareMare, waste canvas is a loosely, but evenly woven fabric designed for you to lay over things without an evenweave (like knits and denim) so you can stitch designs easily onto it, and then the canvas can be cut and pulled away. It's not as easy as they make it sound.  Cheesy

It's definitely not as easy as they make it sound but the benefits are so rewarding-it's like metallic thread. I hate it but I'll keep going back. Ha Ha!

I'm in awe. Have never tried that technique. That must have been very small scale. It looks beautiful. Perfect colour too.

Oooh! Pretty. And I like the colors. They go so well together. I'd never heard of waste canvas. Sounds like some great stuff to experiment with. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
