ok... took me a while but here it is!!!! I had the best partner ever, she spoiled me with tons of goodies n she was quick too, Im having some dificulties at home so its taken me a bit to get her thank u gift together but im working on it!!

you could use some of that gorgeous fabric and your new sewing skills, make her a purse and embroider something on it with some of that fabulous thread....lol..of course its not a surprise any more...or maybe an apron, place mats, table runner, (all easy for beginner sewing!) basic embroidery stitches are easy too.
