Heres my newsboy cap from snb. Excuse the creepy head. I love her, but Hubby and kids say she creepy. Made cap with lambs pride.

Looks lovely! Is that the same colour as the Cleaves in Spring Knitty?

Oh, and that doll is quite freaky.

The hat is great! Was the lid hard? Yes you must get a less creapy model.

Love the hat, and the head isn't that creepy except the huge eyes and white lips and Michael Jackson nose and the fact that it's just, well, a head.  Other than that, it's ok-ish.

You are too funny Super Geek, I needed the laugh.

The hat was very simple to make. I did an extra cable because,.. well..I have a big head, not the creepy head, my real head, which..well..can be kinda creepy too. Anyhoo, I don't recommend the extra cable rows because this sucker is huge!

I love your hat graciepetunia!  I just finished my first newsboy, and I already started another!  Cheesy  I used some "experimental" yarn that I dyed with Kool-Aid, knowing that the colors may do weird things.  Observe:

The color pools on the straight rows, but forms stripes on the brim, the ribs, and the decrease rows.  Oh well - it was cheap, it was fun, and it was great practice for the next one (which is in this kick-ass tweed yarn that is perfect for the style of this hat).  Yeah!

Emily - post pics when you're done!
