Wendy's Baconator

My family does a secret Santa every year, this year I got my youngest BIL.  His list included 2 packs of Jones soda (Fufu Berry), 3 Wendy's Baconators, 2 movies.   (Some members of the family had a problem with this list, but lucky for him, I drew his name! )
I decided to make him one Baconator and get him a gift certificate for the other 2 



The sesame seeds are seed bead sewn on after I finished the top bun.  The bun and bacon were made from Red Heart SuperSaver the rest was Caron Simply Soft.


The cheese was just one square, but the burger itself was 2 sewn together.



The final touch was when I went to Wendy's and asked for an unused wrapper (They listened to the story, laughed and gave me a stack of wrappers!  Lizard thinks it may be a real one, hopefully my BIL does too!)

beckashell- The first pic of him is right after he realized it wasn't real (he groaned and hit his head on the table, BIL next to him gave him a hug lol)  He was VERY disappointed that no one had bought him a Baconator for Xmas (They live in WI, I live in FL.  We didn't exchange gifts til Jan 7th).  He pretended to be disappointed, but when I offered to take it back he refused.  Very sucessful gift

abbeyrd83- I figured anyone that worked there would like it, but I didn't get the chance to show it to the workers before giving it away.  I do have another one in the works, tho.  (my co-workers went crazy over it as I was making it)

So nice looking I could almost hear the bacon sizzling.  Plus it's much healthier that the real one...with all that "fiber" and all!  Thanks for sharing
