I was away for the weekend & just got back a few hours ago & got my mail from my landlord & my goodies from frogangel were waiting for me! There was so much stuff I needed to take lots of pictures to show it all. I got lots of paper, chipboard cutouts, & stickers.:

And some cards, notepads & buttons, charms, etc:

These are my favorites:

I love the Barbie stickers!! When I was 7 my whole room was filled with Barbie stuff- curtains, bedsheets, lamp, backpack, lunchbox- you name it, it had Barbie on it. & of course I had a ton of Barbies too! Here's a closeup of the teeny tiny charms:

Frogangel also sent a box (folded) but unfortunately it broke during transit. I think it'll still be fine if I tape it up though. Smiley

Thanks for everything frogangel!

Perfect that you loved Barbie! Love the pink box and all of the pink girly stuff!  Those see-thu leaves are pretty nice and I have never seen such tiny charms!

Lots of cheerful papers!

oh man, I feel that my partners got gypped. They send so much stuff and I stuck to the A4 envelope size and didn't send them half enough.

I had great fun last night playing with some of the papers, i made an altered jigsaw, but its for a swap so I cant post it yet. I have a couple of mad weekends coming up, but I plan to make a little thankyou to both my wonderful partners alwaysinmyroom and casey for sending me such awesome things.

so this is the haul from alwaysinmyroom. I dont squee...I am far too old to squee, but I did when I started looking through this stuff, amazing vintage stuff. I couldnt get it all in one shot, even standing on a chair, so its in two halves.

this is one half showing all the vintage stuff, there is even original mortgage documents in here, old sheet music, old newspapers, vintage postcards, old stickers, maps...how I love maps!

look at these photos and you can see the mortgage in the background, the map you see is actually a hand drawn map of a townland, and some vintage sewing notions...i want to frame everything as is!

this is the other half, some beautiful beautiful papers, coloured coffee filters, great painted (inked?) backgrounds, and loads of lovely little brads, buttons, whimsies.

I love this paper and there was some dried leaves. So pretty

and some brilliant yarn. i love this stuff.

thank you so much alwaysinmyroom I really resented going to sleep last night and to work today as I just wanted to stay and play with my papers...

and thanks again to casey for organising this...this was an amazing swap.

I am only sorry that I had to trim up the newer papers to get them to fit inside the envelope!  Don't forget that I had the advantage of a shrink wrap machine that I could squeeze out all the air and keep everything together! ha ha

The vintage photos of the woman is my mother-in-law when she was about 18-20.  She was a singer in a swing band and had loads of photos taken. The military photos were of my hubby's uncle when he served in the Navy during WWII. Most of the vintage stuff is family items for which I have duplicates or loads of!  Might as well get some use from it!

I included one of many mortgages that Jim's family had kept from Hershey, PA. I found them interesting because the interest rate was higher back then!! I believe around 6%! The same property that sold for $5,000 in 1930's is now in the millions! Cheesy  Thanks to Hershey Park!!

I am glad that you liked some of the free items, such as the dried leaves and bark!  I really did try to give stuff from my stash...I bought NOTHING for this swap! ha ha

oh how cool that you know the people in the photos. I always feel sorry for those photos you see in thrift shops that have no-one to claim them. My daughter was really impressed with them, she kept saying how pretty the woman is.
