Oh, so fantastic! I love everything about it: the colors, the denim, the using up the stash, EVERYTHING!

I'll be looking at those tutes, and speculating....

That is such a perfect family quilt; the colors, the materials. Very picture of familial bliss, and there's not even a scruffy dog! I'm in awe! You need some kind of award for that sucker, especially with the reuse of jeans. Or at least a big bowl of ice cream. Cheesy

this is such a great quilt.  what type of batting did you use it any?

I didn't use any batting.  I figured that just being a picnic/outdoors quilt, it didn't really need that extra layer (and I didn't really feel like sewing it in anyways).  It's already SO heavy, I can't really imagine it with another layer (but I have seen tutes online that included it).
