Here are 3 quilts I have made recently.

The first was a citrus-y quilt I made with my daughter.  We did this last summer when she was 11.  I did most of the planning, cutting, actual quilting, and the binding, but she did all of the patchwork.  I picked it as a way to introduce her to sewing, really, as it was a lot of repetative sewing.  This one is almost twin size.

The second was a Thomas the Tank Engine Quilt for my great-nephew's 1st birthday.  It is slightly larger than a toddler bed size.

And finally this is a CARS quilt I made for my Grandson's 1st birthday.  This one is also toddler bed sized.

I love how they all turned out, and have a couple more I will posting later that I made for a couple of new babies...

Love the colors in your daughter's quilt! Seems perfect for a pre-teen girl and I am impressed that she did the patchwork!

All three quilts are so cute! Plus, I had to laugh because I have the same train fabric from your borders in my personal stash.

Thanks!  I have a bunch left now in my stash because I bought too much.  Rookie mistake! hahaha..  I am getting better at figuring out how much I need for quilts.  It was too perfect not to use!

Wow, they are great!  My son would love the cars or train quilts... I am getting ready to make him one, but it will not be as fancy as these!  I love them!   Smiley
