A friend of mine just adopted a baby, so I didn't have much time to plan for a quilt.  I'd found the pattern in American Patchwork & Quilting - June 2007, and been wanting to make it for a while.  This seemed like the perfect opportunity to make it up.  I changed it a little and made it smaller.

I love it, and had to put the name patch on it so I wouldn't keep it for myself Wink

What do you think?

I LOVE the colors! This is one of those quilts that makes a non quilter wanna' start. :>

Life is confusing, just when you think it's over it throws you a view like this and you don't know where you are.

Really nice color combinations! The quilting looks good, too. I'd want to keep it.

It's very pretty.  I especially like how the light sections stand out against the darker colors.

Thanks everyone!  I had a lot of the fabrics in my stash for a quilt I keep meaning to make for myself.  So far it's gone into *two* different baby quilts.  I really need to start MY quilt soon. =P

Beautiful! Making and giving a baby quilt is one of the most heartfelt gifts.  My son had a quilt from babyhood until it fell apart when he was about 8 lol.

The fabrics you chose are gorgeous!  I really like the overall pattern.
