I was looking at this swap a few days ago, but I am already doing 3 and I don't want to over-extend myself, *but* I mailed 2 of those swaps yesterday so I guess it's like being finished...kind of.  Wink
Is an apron or set of tea towels classed as a gadget? I would much rather that over a store bought cookbook? (And I'm sure that my partner would love the weight difference!) I might think one more day on this.
Well, the thing is this swap is in 3 parts, 1. scrapbook 2. store bought items 3. crafted items. So there is a part for you to make items, but if you want to craft 100% of the package you can take it up with your partner. As long as your partner is ok with it and lets me know that's what you are doing, then it's fine with me. Smiley

Oops, I didn't even see that #3 part under the copyright info, and I must have read it half a dozen times!  Embarrassed  I'm glad you pointed it out!

Sent my questionnaire earlier today. This will be so much fun. Noob question: What is a DC number? I'm sure I will kick myself when I find out.

There was I thinking to myself 'no more swaps'. Then, stupidly, I look at the swap board. I see this. The combination of cooking and paper crafting has mostly convinced me to join. I think if I can finish up one of the other swaps I'm in I'll have to join. It's just far, far too tempting.

I'm still thinking about joining this one.  I did have fun with the last one I did and I love cookbooks.

maybe if i'm lucky enough, i'll get feedback from my first swap in time to sign up for this one, because it sounds right up my alley! i might just make a scrapbook-cookbook anyway; it sounds like a great way to preserve great family recipes.

I have decided I would love a scrapped cookbook.  And a new apron.  I only have the one I liberated from my old job in 2002
