So, I was a sucker for the after Christmas clearance on panettone.  But my husband and I could not eat the whole loaf.  When it started drying out, I thought the best thing to do with it was make bread pudding.  And since panettone is full of raisins, what better way to serve it than with a rum sauce (mmmm...rum raisin...).

Quick update:  We ate some of the leftovers with fresh whipped cream and that was a yummy addition!
