12 X 12 heat press?

If I were to print out a 15 X 15 size iron on transfer which is obviously bigger than my 12 X 12 heat press. Would there be any problems or complications if I were to press one half of the transfer then the other onto the shirt?

I've never actually tried this, but I'm not sure it would work.  It would be difficult to do without the paper shifting or there being a crease where the first press ended and the next began.  No harm in trying though!
