I was actually coming on this side of the boards to suggest something very similiar. I was thinking, that a basic education board would be great, it could include all the crafts that people have done for school (that seem to be all over the place), a place for teachers to share crafts and craft ideas for their classes, a place for teachers to share decorating ideas for their doors and classrooms. There seem to be a lot of teachers and students on Craftster and I think it would be a great idea to have a board for them and so everything is nicely collaborated together...I really hope this one happens...Also I would not mind volunteering to be a mod for this board either should it happen.

I think this is really a good idea. I've worked at summer camps for three years. I worked in the arts and crafts area so I have come up with all sorts of crazy fun and interesting plans but I also like to hear other peoples ideas too, I think it could be really informative.

This is slightly OT for this thread, but I've proposed a Crafty Teacher swap.

Here's the link: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=333947.0

Gotta start this ball rolling somewhere! Smiley
