Sprout Necklace

Our Girl Scout troop made these sprout necklaces for a try it patch a few weeks ago.
I got the idea from Family Fun magazine.  Purchased the containers from Hobby Lobby and put an eyescrew in the lid.  The lace is the rubber stuff.  The girls put two damp cotton balls in the bottom and two lima beans.  It took a few weeks for them to sprout like this.

This is too darn cute! I might just have to take this idea and use it someday with a few lucky kiddos!
