sophie chose the yarns and asked for a stripey jumper.

I came up with what at first failed epically, but was able to be turned around into something wearable.....

and no, she refused the wear trousers. it was all i could do to get her to keep her underpants on. and yes, they're boy's boxers. also please excuse the tea stain near her shoulder.

no, she wouldn't put the hood up

and here it was in its fail form.... the word clown springs to mind...

The end product looks great, very comfy.  I have to agree with you about the clown collar, the hoodie is much better!   Smiley

Your design collaborator/model is a force to be reckoned with.  She picked lovely colors!  Do I see art school in her future? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

First of all your little girl is soooo cute!  I love that she is wearing boys' boxers!  LOL
My little boys (3, 4, and Cool would much rather run around in underwear than anything else!

Second, that is a really cute sweater!!  I like the second version better too---it definitely looks wearable and comfy!  great job!!

The hoodie is cute but your model is darling. Is there a pattern for the hoodie you made? I love the colors she chose she has taste.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

no, no pattern I'm afraid. I winged it. I can tell you the yoke was 36st around, joined with a slst then on the second row I did a dc, ch1, dc fan in the first, 9th and 27th stitches of the original chain, and just kept doing the fan in each ch1 space until i had it about the right width for her shoulders.

the rest? I winged it.

You did a really good job turning it into a hoodie! Smiley If I had one in my size just like it, I'd wear it (well, maybe in purple instead of pink). Smiley
