New stuff in this here post!

-----

So it's only been, oh, 2 years since I've posted some new stuff. . .  I spent a long while not crocheting, unfortunately!  But now that I've started again, I just can't stop!  So let's see what I've been up to, I suppose!

Note: if there's no link to a pattern, I just kind of winged it.

First and foremost, I finished this today (I'd started it, say, six months ago, after picking up the hook again after a year or so to make a baby blanket).  What can I say, I love giraffes.

I also finished this today, to keep me warm on my upcoming trip to Boston.

Divine hat and made-up scarf for a friend's girlfriend for Christmas

Divine hat for another friend

I made up the pattern for this earflap hat for yet another friend

Terrible iPhone photos in the bathroom do not show the incredibly BRIGHT pink color of this hat.  It's from Caron's Simply Soft Brites.  I'll be making a matching scarf in the next few days, also for a friend's girlfriend.

Winged a coffee-and-camel colored scarf for a friend, and she wound up giving it to her mom for her birthday, then asking me to make another for her!

Since I solidified my earflap pattern, I made one for myself.  Again, Caron SS Brites, blue and pink.

A panda hat?! (for a friend)

Baby hats for a friend's baby (it was supposed to be two, but I just couldn't help myself.  I should also be making him a monkey hat soon).

Okay. . . okay, I think that's it.  Sorry to bombard you guys!  All of these were made from about mid-December until today!

wow you've been super busy! that giraffe hat rocks a lot, and i love the bright yarned earflap hats Smiley for the patches on the giraffe hat, did you have to start & end a lot or is it some kind of double layer crocheting that i have not yet investigated?

I just carried the yarn behind and switched back and forth.

I feel bad linking from dummies.com, but it's the first result I found!

Oh nooooo not a Red Sox hat!  I didn't even realize the colors I chose, I come from a family of die-hard Yankees fans.

However my boyfriend IS from Boston. . .  don't tell him, he'll never let me live it down.  Wink

The green divine hat and the black and blue ear flap hat are my favorite.

The giraffe hat is too cute!

Great work on all of them. Hope you continue to stay busy.

I don't know how to crochet, myself. Haven't the time or money to add another hobby.
But I love appreciating what crocheters can make.

The cream and brown ear flap hat...I think it needs something.  Like, a pompom on top or something.  Maybe a hangy pompom.  The rest are just so flashy and fancy, I feel for it's plainness.
