Signups are open: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=336726.0

I noticed there are a lot of people who go to renaissance  and/or fantasy faires.
Things we could make are; costume pieces, accesoires (bags, pouches, jewelry), Things we need (think historical looking packaging) Are there other suggestions?

I know the idea was here last year but I don't remember wether it actually happened.

I''m totally willing to organize how about signups at the beginning of february with 2 months crafting time?

Sounds like a great idea!  We could let people know what we really "need" and things that would be nice "what we want" or use Wists too?  I'd be interested if you get it going!  Just send me a message!

I would love this. My friends and I go almost every year to our ren faire (pirate weekend every time!) and although I'm usually the only one who puts any effort into my costume its still so much fun.

I would be very interested in this. I work TRF almost every year (took off time after kids were born) and this spring I am supposed to be helping with weddings at a new faire. Sadly, almost my entire box of garb was destroyed after the last faire I worked. Sad All I have remaining is one chemise and a vest bodice with no boning in it. Since I already have to start making new garb, it would be a prime opportunity to craft.

I'm happy to see more people are interested.

My personal situation has undergone some major changes in the past week so starting might take a little longer then expected. I'm now planning on opening this end february

There are a lot of people who swap, but never read swap ideas.  I think when this is opened up, you'll get quite a few people sign up who never read this post.

I, for one, just sit back and read and wait to see what will happen.  I may join, depending on my current mood and time schedule at the time of signups.  It also depends a lot on what the requirements are and how the swap is structured.

I stopped doing point-value swaps because they are too confusing for me.  When you say small-medium-large, it makes sense for me.  If you say it's a five point swap, I'm not interested.

I also need to know what people are interested in, since I don't sew.  I do leather work and woodwork, and sometimes papercrafts, and often I combine them.

This swap is a very good idea, though.
