I'm really excited to be a part of this one!  I've always loved OZ.  When I was a kid I watched the movie so many times I nearly wore out the laser disc.  Yeah, that's right...laser disc ha ha.  Is anyone else out there a fan of Return to OZ with Faruza Balk as Dorothy?  It was so dark and freaky and awesome.

I really loved Return to Oz, but I haven't seen it since I was really little. But I do remember that the "wheelies" scared the crap out of me!! lol

I just finished reading Wicked and it was amazing. I really wish I could join this but I just shipped out my very first swap and I don't know when I'll get feedback... Oz has always been one of my favorites, from the book to the movie and I loved Tin Man. I really need to see Wicked the musical though, I've been dying to but I don't know when I'll be able to. Anyway, depending on how soon my partner gets her package I may have to join!

Does this include the SyFy Tin Man movie version as well.  I know there is another thread for the Alice/Tin Man, but it seems like Alice and Wizard of Oz is seemingly getting their own swaps.  I was just wondering if anyone else was familiar with the Tin Man mini series.  If so, I might be in on this one.
I would say yes! Hopefully we could find another swapper that was familiar with them as well to make something that was Tin Man themed!

I wouldn't mind signing up, but, I'd like to do 1 HUGE. My dolls take about 60 hours to create, and I think it would be fun to make one for this swap, but I wouldn't want to make anything else because of the time and expense. What do you think?
I am a-ok with that! And Im sure any one here would kill to get one of your dolls!

I still new at the whole thing and this is where I get cunfused with the small, medium, large, and huge thing. Is there actual dimentions to this or just in general?
This is a guideline ONLY: a rough estimate of sizes described by time it takes to make package, by physical size and by cost:

By Time
-Large = 3 or more hours
-Medium = 2 or more hours
-Small = 2 or less hours

By Size
-Large = A shawl, a shirt, a skirt, a set of jewelry with four to five items, a purse
-Medium = one single necklace or bracelet, a scarf
-Small = Earrings, stickers, wallets, pouches, bookmarks

By Price
-Large = $30 or more
-Medium = $10-$30 d

Okay. Let me see if I can fit this into my crafting schedule. I have a few deadlines to work around.

YES!! I too love Return to Oz. wasn't the witch's name Mombi? Although I love Judy Garland, I must say that I like that in Return to Oz Dorothy is a little girl, like she is supposed to be.
Does anyone remember watching the cartoon The Land of Oz?
