You could try designing stencils that are the shape of the skate deck so that the design follows the shape of the board- seems like it could be cool...I wish I had a skate board now.... Undecided

stencilling on skateboards is really cool. I have done a bunch of them with new and broken ones that my skater friends donated to me. I will post pictures when I figure out the whole posting pictures thing.

They can be such beautiful decorative projects and one could find a way to make $$$ out of it by buying plain wholesale skateboards stencilling/painting them, then passing a coat of polish and ta da!!! selling them...

this one is nice but in my opinion it needs a lot of work still...

Try passing it with a coat of paint and thenexperiment with spraying, dripping, stencilling...

It is pretty easy to reproduce a stencil once you have the origional cut out- I stencil my shoes all the time and when the design wears off, I simply re stencil it.

the bottom has a plastic coating which doesn't hold paint very well. it gets pretty beat up anyways from grinding and stuff.

thank you for the suggestions everyone. this wasn't really a finished project, just another thing I could put my stencils on.
