Hi everyone!

For my best friend's wedding, the bridal party has decided to organize a scrapbook as a gift for the happy couple. We're going to ask guests to create and send their own 12x12 page which we'll compile into a book before the wedding. We've chosen the theme of songs  and are asking that pages be themed around songs that remind the creators of the bride and groom-to-be.

My question is this: what information do you think we should send to guests to make it easy and fun for them to participate? We've created a flickr account and uploaded a bunch of pictures if people don't have their own, we're also compiling a list of sample songs if people need some inspiration.

We'll also send information about where to purchase scrapbooking supplies.

What information would you include? How would you encourage people who aren't naturally crafty/creative to participate?

This is such a great idea! I would love for someone to do this for me! Pictures are the best way to share memories.

I have done a bunch of scrapbooks and photo boards for family members birthdays. One piece of advice I would give is to raid the couple's house/parents houses for photographs to use. Its the best when the recipients of the book don't remember the pictures in it!
Maybe if you are a crafty person yourself you can offer to do some pages for people. I know that would be a lot more work, but if the guests gave you the pictures, paper, and accessories they want for the page, I'm sure it would be easy to put together. I know some people can perceive a good idea but can't put it on paper.

Hope this helps! good luck!
