I just found this thread. OK, I just got back to Craftster after many many months of not posting or lurking or anything after I signed up. Smiley

But I DID just find this thread. I love that I'm not the only crazy working on huge projects at a time. I was starting to feel very alone. Hope to take part soon as I feel my way around the site.

All I can say is WOW!!! There are a HUGE bunch of talented people on this thread!

I just found this. Just got back into cross stitch after a few years off.

Thought this might give me the motivation I need to continue working on the project I just started and get it finished so I can start another!

Only have about 3 hours work so not really worth posting work photo yet but I am working on Jewels of the Orient. I hope to work on all the Geishas in the Gold Collection! They are all so beautiful!

Picture for reference:

Oh, I love all those geisha patterns. I would love to do a series of them someday! I am just getting back into cross-stitch after a few years off, too.

The Wizard is amazing - I love the effect on the dark cloth.

I'm new here - I've lurked off and on for years, but thought it would be fun to post sometime! I am currently working on a big project myself, but I need more posts to be able to show a picture. Smiley

*waves*  I've been working on a Christmas present for one of my closest friends on and off now from about June time.  Although for the past two weeks it has pretty much taken over all of my spare time around work lol.  I wanted to make him an embroidered chakra chart, so found a picture I liked and turned it into a rather frustratingly complicated pattern lol.  Anyway, here be the progress after several weeks of slogging Smiley

Still got the right side to finish, and the final chakra but tis really starting to get the now finally Smiley  Tis definitely the biggest piece of material I've ever cross stitched on.
