I am absolutely in love with the way that skin looks, HistoricalNeedle! It's looking great!

I think there is about 8-10 different flesh tones in his face... I have to change one colour (the part that has a lot of holes in his face) because the shade the cross stitch program picked was way too dark. I stitched about 20 stitches and it didn't want to blend in when you looked at it from a distance. It will have to wait until I stitch the rest in before I decide what to do!!

Hello all~
Just wanted to post up my work in progress cross stitch project. I've been working on this since the summer, although I stopped for a couple months while I got adjusted to college life. I recently started on it again and I thought I would show all of you  Tongue

It's a portrait of Queen, one of my favorite bands of all time! It's quite an ambitious project and I hope I can actually finish it. The finished product will be 450 x 308 stitches, 32-1/8 x 22 inches, on aida 14 fabric with 49 colors. I made the pattern by importing a picture on Pattern Maker for cross stitch.

In case you're wondering, the canvas is way too big for my scroll frame so I had to just clip it on  Lips sealed
Let me know what you guys think!
