Hey guys, looking for ideas! First, a little background.

When my mom's coworker Joanne found out she was pregnant, they found out she was a trisomy baby. Drs told her the baby wouldn't survive birth, & she did. Then they kept saying she wouldn't survive a day, a week, a month, etc, & now a couple of yrs later she's a beautiful angel who touches everyone she meets. However her life has been marked by many many hospitalizations & she's currently in ICU. A few yrs ago I did the CHOC Walk In The Park, benefitting Children's Hospital of Orange County. That's where Cameron is currently. I'm not a millionaire, I'm not a doctor. I'm just a mother wanting to help. So I decided to do the walk in her honor.

And now where I need your help. What are some possible crafts I could sell to help raise money? I'm already planning on making special bookmarks w angels, baby footprints, etc. But any other ideas? Thank you in advance!

I think any baby craft would be great. Maybe little blankets, hats, booties. Embroidered spit up towels?

Yeah I think baby crafts would be a good idea. You could make knitted baby booties or gloves, etc.

Gather all the crafsters in your area to create a bunch of items, that way you can sell a variety of items. I'm sure there are plenty of warm-hearted people willing to help. Maybe you and some others could have a bake sale. If you have a recycling center near you, you can make a weekly trip there and donate what money you get for the items you were going to throw away.

I hope Cameron gets well soon. She sounds like a sweetheart.

Hm, thinking about it, you can probable donate teddy bears and baby blankets to the children's ward. I'm sure there are kids who could use a good snuggle.
