My daughter had a dress that she loved, but one strap was broken and it was to short for her:



So I removed the top (not sure what I'm going to do with that yet) and turned the rest into a bathing suit skirt with a tie on the side:



It may not be a big project, but I'm proud of it since it's my first clothing item!

 I like the wrap skirt... Can't you just re-make the top into a midriff cover-up top? You should have some scraps left over now>Right?

Good idea to get more mileage out of a favorite outfit!

Kids are great because they love love certain pieces and don't mind hanging on as long as they can!!

And, what a lovely daughter you have as a model!
