i have been incredibly inspired by the artfest fiber fat book. its made of 4"x4" quilt squares that are very much like an altered journal. i'm not a huge sewer, but i wanted to make my own, and i thought you might like to join me.

here is a picture of what i'm talking about

and here is my first page!

i love personal swaps. i'm looking to swap my art or paper crafts for some re-usable fabric snack bags, fabric sandwich wraps, fabric paper towels, glass pendants, ephemera, or art books.

I'm in. I love all the altere-type things being made, so I know I'll love this. I need some extra socialization too.

Oh!
I think I may have to do this!
I love experimenting with fabric, and this would be a great way to do it.

This sounds really interesting and I'm very interested in possibly using this to try to expand my very small quilting knowledge and try new blocks and stuff ^_^ I'm in!

IN LOVE WITH THIS IDEA! I think I started my first page last week without even knowing it. So how do you bind pages together once you've got a few? Or do you just wait until the very end?
