Oh I LOVE the notebook cover!! jiasaykea, did you design the balloon embroidery yourself? Would you be willing to share your pattern? I'd love to embroider that on something!! It's lovely. Smiley

I did design the pattern myself, I sketched out a picture of a hot air balloon and used classic DaVinci design for the wings. So sadly I don't have a pattern to share as it were, but it was pretty easy to find source material for inspiration. I'd be thrilled to see any embroidery it inspired.

Missing_Muse received, and she asked me to post pictures, so with the exception of a shadowbox (for now) here's her package:

barrette

the gloves are supposed to look like they button up, and they lace ties in the back

journal

pillow

There was also some "scientific equipment" that didn't survive the trip...but the pictures are on my mom's camera so it has to wait

Well, the time has come to admit that my package to Ralph is truly lost, at least for the foreseeable future. So it's with a heavy heart I post photos of its contents, so at least you can enjoy what might have been.

There was a leather and brass "Airship Pilot's Log Book":

(front) (belt clip on back)
(inside)

The corset with engraved brass front busk:

It looks like velvet in this photo, but really was dark red canvas, lined with matching silk (no photo of the lining.)

Now I'll never know whether it fit! Cry

The final item (and only circussy thing) was this ATC with a painting of a robot clown and his dog.

I'm sure it'll eventually either reach Ralph in Australia or end up back in my mailbox, but who knows how long that could take now.

Wulf

OMG! And to think this is possibly mine!

I still believe it will reach me, I don't think mail ever really gets lost, just waylaid. Thanks anyway for being an awesome partner and for being so supportive throughout the swap. I agree, don't let this put you off swapping, anyone would be lucky to get you as a partner!
