WooHoo I got it to work!! Sorry this is the first time I got photos to work.
I was given these gold lamps that weren't in the best condition so of course I had to pretty them up. Heres the lamp before:

Here's a close up of one of the dogs:

And the whole thing:

I'm happy with them even though they remind me of something that should be in a little kids room as oposed to a 21 year old apartment.

Very cute!  And hey, if anyone bugs, just sayyou are letting loose your inner child.  Whatcha gonna do for the shade?  If you find one, it'd be sweet if you could add a little doggy collar with tags to the top part!

Nah, the collar should be on the bottom part of the lamp shade! Smiley
Love the lamp btw Grin

Thanks! I ended up with a cheap shade from walmart(money crunch), I like the dog collar idea I'll have to see how it looks. I have one of my dogs name tag it would go perfect with it.

Screw it, get two, put 'em on both top and bottom!  Collars are like, a few bucks at pet stores, right? (my cats are inside, thus collar-less).  You totally have to post the finished shade, I think that's just a ridiculously cute idea!

Yes, your lamp is cute.  But cute is no respector of age.  You're very creative and did a wonderful job!!
