Lydia I had to read your avatar like ten times to figure out what the heck it meant..still didn't get it. My husband clued me in. Yep..I live under a rock Tongue

Oh, WOW!!  I love True Blood!  You should check it out.  Supernatural, supensful, and hilarious all at the same time.

The books are great too.

Lydia

I second that, only I like the books beter.

Lydia do you know where you got your avatar? I love it, I cracked up when I read it. I would love it on a bag or shirt.

Swap note I love the bag dryer! It's abstract enough you can let it hang out on your counter without guest being WTF?

I started reading the books after watching the first season.  They are pretty different and I love them both in there own way!  LOL

As for the avatar, I think it came from just doing a google image search.

Okay, as promised, here are the pictures of the awesome frugal items Craftrica sent me!

A group shot:

A very cute pad for writing shopping lists and some handmade cards and envelopes!

Two dishtowels with some awesome embroidery (seriously, Craftrica is so talented!) The little birdy is saying 'Cheap!' as per my request.  It makes me laugh.

Some handwarmers (that I'm wearing as I type!) and an awesome dishcloth:

And last, but certainly not least, a guide for an indoor herb garden and some fantastic plant markers made out of seed packets and plastic, so they're all waterproof!

Thank you so much, Craftrica!  You totally spoiled me and I hope you liked your package even half as much as I love yours!

Lovely package. I have never thought of embroidering on regular towels. I have only ever seen the thin tea towel types. Very ingenious.

I'm thinking sign-ups mid-late March, with sendouts beginning of Mayish?

Baby is here - at long last!!

Oooooh....so tempting to wait for that and just do it, rather than taking on another swap next month.  But baby is due May 10th so it's probably too risky unless I had a REALLY understanding partner who would be willing to wait if I had the baby in the middle of send-outs.

itchyfingers, I'm here to tempt you into another round!  I did a personal swap with a girl who had a baby and ended up sending two months after our agreed deadline.  It was her first child and she had drastically underestimated the energy that goes into caring for a newborn.   Cheesy  I didn't mind waiting and actually enjoyed all the mommy talk and the baby updates.  I would love to be your partner and wouldn't mind a late package.  I wish you the best with your pregnancy.  Those last few months can be the most challenging!
