Does anyone else have a problem with Wists?

I'm not sure if this should go somewhere else, but this seemed the most logical place to me. If I need to move it let me know.

Every time I go on the Wists website my AVG Antivirus pops up and tells me it has detected a threat, and the Wist site gets redirected to a (AVG blocked) page. It's only when i try to look at people's wist, not when I add, but it concerns me, as I've had to deal with computer viruses before and it sucked.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Yikes.  I haven't gone there in a while, but I just clicked your Wists and had it pop up.  It surely is a virus of some sort.  It actually looks very similar to an issue we had here a month or so ago.

I actually am having a problem with wists as well.  But mine is that I can't even get into the site.  Every time I try, I get a broken link message.  Has anyone seen that?

I've been trying for the last couple of days and it comes back with a cannot find server error.  Doesn't matter when or whose link I use or even just plain www.wists.com

ugh i've only had "the server is taking too long to respond"...and i've had this for almost 3 days now boo!! i want my wists back! lol

I read that they are powered by Gawker.com so I went on there and posted an issue in their troubleshooting section. http://getsatisfaction.com/gawker/topics/what_happened_to_the_wists Everyone should go complain on there and maybe that will get it fixed faster. It's worth a shot

thanks madgypsy! i posted there...getting nervous though because i didn't "backup" my bookmarks on wists anywhere else i had some AWESOME bookmarks too! :::wishing wists comes back up soon:::

I tried to wist something this morning and couldn't get to the site either. I also tried to go to a friends wist and that wouldn't work. Gah!

We got a reply from the founder of wists, and they are installing new hardware over the weekend, so hopefully it will be back and working on Monday. I neeeed wists right now for swapping!
